It takes a Family to make a Home
At Pietralisa, we offer something special: the genuine warmth and hospitality of a family-run holiday home. There is no big rental corporation or fancy holiday agency behind Pietralisa, and we like it this way. We're Giuseppe and Silvana, a mother and son who are passionate about sharing our love for Puglia.
I'm born and raised in Puglia, but my love for travel has taken me all over the world, and I now live in Asia (Singapore). I travel to connect with the world, Pietralisa is my way of connecting the world to Puglia. I treat every guest the way I'd want to be treated when I travel.
Mamma Silvana is the heart and soul of Pietralisa and she runs the show on the ground. With her infectious energy, positivity, and genuine warmth, she's the one who truly makes this place feel like home. For her, every guest is a friend she hasn't met yet.
We opened our doors in 2024, and poured our hearts into transforming this 1800s house for modern living while keeping its original character. It took a village to make it happen and with the help of papà Giulio, little sis' Rossella, and many other wonderful people, Pietralisa is now a reality where people from all paths can create memories.
The name "Pietralisa"
The name Pietralisa is a combination of "Pietra" (stone in Italian), representing the beautiful typical stone vaults that grace both apartments, and "Lisa" in loving memory of our Nonna Isa.
Nonna Isa & Nonno Nicola's home was a place of warmth, joy, and open doors. It was a haven where everyone was welcome, with a place at the table always ready to be added, and where her grandchildren grew up like siblings. With Pietralisa, we strive to keep that spirit of love, openness and connection alive. This is our way of honoring her memory.
